Well, another summer has come and gone, and it's already the second week of classes! The week before Fall term classes began St. Thomas University held Orientation for new students. It was hectic -- students, parents, information sessions, mass with the new Director of Campus Minsitries, Father Harry, lunch in the remodeled Marketplace, advising by yours truly and many professors, and lots of great food at a reception to top it all off!
The first week was a bit rough on the Office of Academic Advising, as it was temporarily located in the library. Despite some minor glitches, all in all advising was a success! Thank you to those of you who were patient, or had trouble finding me. I really appreciate it!
Well, I'm back in my office now and things have slowed down a bit. Most of you are in your classes and back in the swing of things. I am going to dedicate more time to updating this blog on a regular basis, and give you as much information as I can. I'm also easy to find on Facebook, there you'll find me by looking up my email grakowsky@stu.edu. Add me as your friend, and there you'll get information too!
